Pods Tissue Box: A Sized Tissue Box with Natural Pods

A plain tissue box offers so many possibilities! It’s equivalent of a blank canvas, at least to me. Here I have taken a simple tissue box and added natural seed pods. To highlight rich, browns I echoed shape of pod, then added first a red and then cream outline that sets pod off when it’s glued to box. longs sides have three natural pods with one on each end. This box accepts a standard wide tissue box with a sliding opening on bottom. It is antiqued and uses an indoor acrylic varnish followed with furniture polish for years of easy care.
